Flexible Spending Accounts
Flexible spending accounts allow you to set aside money, on a pre-tax basis, for certain health care and dependent care expenses. Bailey Medical Center employees are eligible for two types of flexible spending accounts.
Health Care Flexible Spending Account – allows you to set aside money to cover health care expenses that are not covered under your insurance plan, such as deductibles, physician and emergency visit co-payments and over-the-counter medications.
Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account – can be used to pay for childcare and other dependent care expenses that are necessary to allow you to work.
