Before coming to Bailey, I worked in environmental services at a larger hospital for 26 years. When I heard Bailey Medical Center was hiring, I thought I would check it out and see if a smaller hospital was right for me. I’m so glad I did because the hospital operates like a small community. We all know each other on a first name basis. Everyone from the chief executive officer to the doctors to people from various nursing departments all smile and say hello when you pass them in the halls.
My supervisors are excellent. We are all encouraged to be our best once we hit the front door and I believe we all are team players and work together for the patients we serve. It truly is a pleasure to work here and I enjoy what I do. The best part of my job is seeing the satisfied look on patients’ faces when I clean the rooms to their satisfaction.
I am extremely happy to I came to Bailey Medical Center. If a housekeeper can serve the patients, have a good attitude and enjoy the job then Bailey must be doing something right.
